Meet the Characters of Eddy’s Inventive World
Eddy: Eddy, a school boy, is full of curiosity and imagination and always has a lot of creative “great ideas.” He likes to try new things and learn new technologies, and loves to do some cool hands-on creations. But some people think his ideas are just fantasies!
Dotty: Eddy’s younger sister. She is a happy and cheerful girl. She likes music and cooking. She is Eddy’s companion, but she sometimes likes to challenge her bro and create something not very technical but interesting and meaningful!
Jenny: Eddy’s neighbor and classmate, an energetic and popular girl in the school. She likes dancing, singing, performance, writing, and sports. She is also a key player for school’s community promotion and fund-raising activities. Her specialty in the team is market analysis and promotion.
Coddy: Eddy’s neighbor and classmate. Coddy is a computer technology and IT lover. As Eddy’s buddy, he supports Eddy’s crazy ideas, tailors the details, cleans up the messes that Eddy makes, and fixes software bugs all the time.
Webby: Eddy’s neighbor and classmate. He is a new technology and new product lover. His specialty is website design, material sourcing, and resource finding. He likes working with industrial and educational sponsors for resource support, and he always brings in some new and cool stuffs to the team.
Intty: Eddy’s classmate. She likes art, decoration, graphic design, and fashion design. She brings an artistic sense to creation and invention projects, and she always wants make things “pretty.” Her specialties on the team are internet support, information search, and industrial design.
Toddy: Eddy’s little cousin, only five years old. He has so much curiosity and loves to touch everything. He thinks everything is a playful toy, and he also makes his own “toy inventions”!
Billy: Eddy and Dotty’s grandpa, a retired teacher. He likes science and new technology, and he is dedicated to community education programs for children. He is a firm supporter of Eddy’s and Dotty’s learning and creating activities. As he said, “Kids are so amazing nowadays. I’d better catch up!”
Kaity: Eddy’s schoolteacher, a college graduate. She is also a leader of the Robotics and Technology Club at the school. She likes working with her students and coaching their creative activities. She has a keen sense of the advance of new technologies.
Robby: Robby is an engineer specialized in intelligence engineering. He is a new technology and robotics geek. He is very knowledgeable, and he supports the inventive and learning activities at Eddy’s schools.
Mr. Unbeatable: An advanced Intelligent R&D robot with Deep-Learning capability. It was originally made by a college robotics team and the team later donated it to Eddy’s school. Its unique single pogo-stick-leg design makes it “unbeatable.”
Smaro: Eddy’s 1st prototype robot and test bench. Eddy named it Smaro and hope it becomes a Smart Robot, but actually its intelligence and knowledge level varies with different upgrades.
